Summary of the Graduation Present
Summary of the Graduation Present
A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. He told to his father that he wants a sports car. On the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study and gave him a gift box. The young man opened the box happily but became angry and stormed out of the house when he saw the gift was a Bible. Many years passed, the young man was very successful and had a wonderful family. Before he made arrangements to see his father, he received a telegram telling his father had died. When he arrived at his father’s house, he felt sad and regretful. He found the still new Bible which he had left years ago. He opened the Bible and read the pages which his father underlined with tears. As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the date of his graduation, and the words “PAID IN FULL.”
